Recording the plush with your own audio is very simple. We offer you two options to choose from.
The recorder is super easy to use with one large heart button on the front and a three-position switch on the back: MP3, PLAY and RECORD. This way, you can easily record your voice with the press of a button or upload, for example, a song.
*Note: The recorder does not support MAC (Apple) computers.
After choosing to submit via WhatsApp, you will receive an email after your order with your order number and our WhatsApp number +31 85 130 3810. You can send your personal audio clip to this number. We will then place it inside the plush toy so it’s ready for use.
File: No playback time limit, as long as the file is a maximum of 16 MB.
The recorder contains 2 AAA batteries. These batteries are included.
If you connect the recorder to a Windows computer via the USB-C cable but the folder ‘MP3_MESSAGE’ does not appear, this is usually due to the position of the switch.
The computer only recognizes the recorder if the switch on the back is set to MP3. If it is still set to PLAY or REC, the recorder will not be visible on your computer.
So make sure the switch is set to MP3 before connecting.
When you set the switch to PLAY, the recorder plays the recording you made yourself using the microphone.
Haven’t recorded anything with the microphone yet? Then you won’t hear anything when you set the switch to PLAY.
Do you want to hear the mp3 file you uploaded via the computer? Then set the switch to MP3. The recorder will then play the mp3 file.
Yes, our products have been thoroughly tested and comply with all applicable European safety regulations. The voice recorder is large enough to prevent any risk of swallowing, and the battery compartment is extra secured with a screw so that children cannot easily access it. This way, we ensure that our plush toys are not only fun but also safe.
At the moment, only Windows is supported. When using a Mac, hidden files may automatically be added that can cause the recorder to malfunction.
Accidentally added a file via a Mac? Don’t worry. Connect the recorder to a Windows computer and delete all files except the mp3 file. After that, everything should work properly again.
Officially, the recorder only supports one mp3 file at a time. In practice, however, it is possible to put multiple mp3 files on the recorder.
You can manually switch between the files by pressing the heart button. Each file is played separately; they do not automatically play one after the other. This feature is not officially supported, but it generally works without problems.
When you press the heart button, MP3-1 starts automatically. You can stop playback at any time by pressing the heart button again.
The next press of the heart button starts MP3-2, then MP3-3, and so on. The recorder plays the files one by one, in order.
Note: you cannot select a specific file or skip through the files manually. The recorder always plays them in sequence and continues looping after the last one.
No, the recording will remain saved when the batteries run out or are replaced. The recorder does not automatically delete anything.
Still, we always recommend making a digital backup. For example, also save your mp3 file on your computer. If you have recorded a spoken message directly, you can also use your phone’s microphone to make a recording. This way, you always have a backup copy in case something is accidentally deleted.
Unlike the microphone function (where you can record for a maximum of 60 seconds), there is no time limit when uploading an mp3 file.
The only limitation is the recorder’s storage capacity, which can hold up to 16 MB of files. Your mp3 can be as long as you like, as long as the total file size stays within that 16 MB limit.
No, a USB-C cable is not included with the recorder. You can use your own USB-C cable for this.
Yes, you can! The recorder supports both options simultaneously.
When you set the switch to PLAY, the recorder plays the recording you made yourself via the microphone (max. 60 seconds). If you set the switch to MP3, the device plays the mp3 file you uploaded.
This way, you can easily switch between both sound sources, depending on what you want to play at that moment.
